After a few years of serving the East Bay of Northern California and seeing patients who need medication for a runny nose to Hepatitis C to HIV, they decided to become specialists; to split their focus between two patient populations that needed the greatest level of care; specialty and long-term care. Dolphin Health Pharmacy began focusing solely on delivering pharmacy services to chronically ill patients, while,
Vibrant Care Pharmacy began to provide long-term care facilities multi-dose blister packaging from our patented robot, MyDoses.
As the Patel Family grew their
pharmacy footprint, they saw another need they could no longer ignore.
Medical Clinics and Pharmacies had a lot of technology choices and all of them were outdated, slow, and they decided to fix that too. So, they worked all day helping patients, and all night coding and building out the products and company we now know as
Meditab .
As of today, there are pharmacies all across America using Intelligent Pharmacy Software (IPS) and thousands of providers using our EMR, Intelligent Medical Software (IMS).
Meditab, in the past 5 years, has helped develop our provider portal and it's mobile application that help providers, patients, and our pharmacy communicate. Meditab is also responsible for the building our automated dispensing robot.
Over the past 20 years, the Patel Family has created 30 independent sister companies that help one another in a different area of healthcare expertise.
